"A Good Foundation is Essential for Success"
Rob Leach Performance Horses is based in Exeter, California, and specializes in showing and training performance horses. Rob actively shows reined cow horses and cutting horses and is quickly becoming one of the most recognized two-year-old trainers for the performance horse industry on the West Coast.
A renowned colt starter from Australia, Rob came to the United States in 2005 to further his horse training and showing career. Learn more about Rob. Taking immense pride in his two-year-old program, Rob is dedicated to building a solid foundation in order to achieve greater long-term success. He takes a horsemanship approach, as opposed to a horse-trainer’s approach, to horse training. No short-cuts are taken, and clients can be assured that the soundness and well-being of the horse are always first priority. Learn more about Rob’s horse training philosophy and services.

At his Snaffle Bit Futurity debut in 2007, Rob won the Limited Open Championship on his own mare, Pep N Coda Lena. Rob achieved success once again in 2008 by making the Intermediate Open finals on two horses – Gay Bar Rooster, owned by Penland Quarter Horses, and Tangy’s Classy Chick, owned by John and Loretta Showalter.
Rob Leach Performance Horses is currently accepting two- and three-year olds for 2009/10. Highly regarded for his colt-starting and foundational training, Rob values his customers and places high importance on practicing good business ethics.
